Le boyfie and I were very excited about this review despite being stuck in the jam at LDP for 1.5 hours. First, appetizer was served and it’s called Smoked Salmon Rose Served with Honey Mustard Dressing and Feta Cheese & Grilled Watermelon With Balsamic Glazed. Fuh! What a long name right? Taste wise, I love the smoked salmon rose a lot, it has a very flavorful smoky taste, fresh and juicy. I wish they have more of these! The grilled watermelons and feta cheese in heart shape was an awesome creative combination! The sweetness of the watermelon matches very well with the salty Feta cheese. Thumbs up!

In the soup department, we had piping hot Roasted Tomato Basil Oil Soup Served with Herbs Bread Rolls with Butter that warms our tummy on a cold rainy night. The herb bread was wrapped with seaweed, tastes perfect when dipped in the soury roasted tomato soup. Dashes of basil oil was added to enhance the flavor to another level.

After a delicious and appetizing soup, we were presented with Orange Sorbet on Love Shape Ice Carving. The presentation of this dish was really unique as the orange sorbet was put on top of a heart shaped ice carving to prevent it from melting too soon. There was also a flashing LED light that changes color under the ice carving.

As for the main course, you have the choice to choose either Pan Fried Sea Bass Fillet with Balsamic Drizzle served with Tri Color Sweet Potato Mash and Avocado Tomato Salsa & Green Pepper Corn Foam or Oven Baked Rack of Lamb Glaze with Apricot and Fig Confit served with Wild Mushroom & Potato Ragout and Sage with Asparagus Fitters. Le boyfie and I decided to have one each. I took the pan fried sea bass fillet dish. The fish meat was surprisingly smooth and sweet due to the freshness. I personally prefer it without the green pepper corn foam because I think that a fresh fish should be enjoyed alone. On another note, I love the taste and smooth texture of Tri Color Sweet Potato mash, the combination is a perfect one! I felt that sweet food complements Valentine’s Day the best. That’s how lovers should feel! =)
