ShopPlus officially launched their digital retail portal to provide Malaysian shoppers an enhanced shopping experience with a shorter waiting time for Taiwanese products and to be part of the growing e-commerce in Malaysia. ShopPlus
ShopPlus is a Malaysian driven initiative that is supported by a Taiwanese technical group. It’s an e-commerce site with a twist, where shoppers can shop, share and earn cash backs and shopping points from the system. According to Mr. Cheng Chun Fu, Chief Technology Officer of ShopPlus, it has one of the strongest bonus rebates that offers a three-tiered dividend return with a fraction of effort in sharing and shopping. With this system that was brought in from Taiwan, users can be part of the growing e-commerce industry in Malaysia without having to invest a huge amount of time and money because you can choose to sell among the 10,000 items offered by 200 merchants. ShopPlus is currently carrying 6 major categories: Fashion, Digital & Electronic Goods, Home & Living, Sport & Leisure, Baby & Kids and Automotive, with various prominent brands to cater to mass Malaysians. “We believe that this is an excellent opportunity for technology savvy Malaysians to embark on their entrepreneur journey. All they will have to do is sharing while ShopPlus does the backend work of stock keeping, marketing, advertising, parcel shipping and customer service. There is no other retail or e-commerce platforms that provides such a system,” Mr. Cheng Chun Fu further elaborated. “With Malaysia moving forward in the e-commerce industry and having the Digital Free Trade Zone being set up, we hope that more Malaysians will take the opportunity to see how the e-commerce industry will greatly benefit them in the future,” said Y.B. Datuk Chua Tee Yong, Deputy Minister of International Trade & Industry. ShopPlus has the best of both sides; with Taiwan having a matured e-commerce platform bringing in their experience and expertise to ShopPlus, while Malaysia makes up a team that provides an extensive local insight of the marketing and retail industry. With Malaysia being the future of the eWTP Digital Free Trade Zone, ShopPlus is the first of its kind to bring to life an online retail and e-commerce platform, which its strategy and incentives are aimed to bring triple benefits to fellow Malaysians. In the near future, they’re planning to expand their reach to more countries. For more information, visit Shopplus Facebook page.
