As I have oily skin with occasional breakouts and enlarged pores, BelleWave has sent me ClearWave range which is targeted to banish acne and control sebum for review purpose. The products I received were:

Before I show you the end result after using them for 3 weeks straight, let me show you my beauty routine which I follow twice a day. Step 1: Clean traces of makeup with ClearWave Deep Cleansing Milk

First things first – cleanliness plays a big role in keeping blemishes at bay. Any traces of makeup and impurities need to be removed especially before going to bed or the pores will be congested, resulting in blemishes. The cleansing milk helps to balance the hydrolipidic mantel of skin whilst thoroughly removing pore-clogging impurities, oil and makeup. How to use: Apply on skin and lightly massage to remove impurities. Rinse with a soft sponge soaked with lukewarm water.

Active ingredients: Mushroom extract to enhance skin tone and firmness, Algae extract to hydrate and supply nutrition to the skin, Provitamin B5, Rosemary Essential Oil with bacteria-fighting properties, Peppermint Essential Oil Step 2: Double cleanse with ClearWave De-Bac Washing Foam

Double cleansing is very beneficial for acne-prone skin to thoroughly cleanse impurities on the skin especially if you had makeup on your skin. Normally if I didn’t wear any makeup throughout the day, I might skip Deep Cleansing Milk and just use ClearWave De-Bac Washing Foam. This ultra-fresh washing foam gently cleanses and lifts away pore-clogging impurities and excess oil to prevent blemishes. I especially love the scent from Rosemary Essential Oil every time I use it. It makes me feel so relaxed. How to use: Apply on pre-moistened skin to remove impurities and rinse with lukewarm water. As the gel is quite thick, I didn’t need to pump out much. Active ingredients: Sage extract with softening, toning and astringent properties, Mushroom extract to enhance skin tone and firmness, Provitamin B5, Rosemary Essential Oil with bacteria-fighting properties, Peppermint Essential Oil with calming properties, Hydrolized Wheat Germ Proteins to help bind water in the tissues and thus improve suppleness. Step 3: Prep skin with ClearWave De-Bac Astringent Lotion

It’s crucial to prep our skin before feeding it with nutritious serum to ensure maximum absorption. Great products will be wasted if the skin is not ready to absorb the goodness from it. This lightly-textured astringent lotion helps to clear and prevent blemish spots, tighten pores and refine skin texture. How to use: Soak a cotton pad with 2-3 pumps of lotion and smooth over cleansed skin. Active ingredients: Burdock Root Extract that purifies skin, removes impurities and tighten pores, Mushroom extract to enhance skin tone and firmness, Witch hazel water to calm irritated skin, Provitamin B5, Rosemary Essential Oil with bacteria-fighting properties, Peppermint Essential Oil Step 4: Apply ClearWave Comedone Repair Activist

ClearWave Comedone Repair Activist is the star product in this range and definitely a must-have! It effortlessly dislodges comedones (blackheads and whiteheads) and impurities using a unique ingredient called biological re-equilibrating agent. With pore-tightening astringent, skin decongestion and calming properties, it helps to effectively prevent blemishes. My skin feels clean and super smooth after just using it for 5 days! How to use: Apply directly or soak a cotton pad with lotion and smooth over skin and affected areas (especially T-zone and acne area). I recommend apply directly to avoid wastage. Active ingredients: Salicylic Acid that promotes exfoliation to improve skin texture, Calendula Extract, Chamomile Extract to nourish and calm the skin, Burdock Root Extract which purifies the skin, thus reducing formation of comedone, Biological Equilibrating Agent to balance cutaneous disorders, Tomato Juice to refine skin texture Step 5: Apply SunWave UV Extra DNA De-Tox UV Block (White/SPF 45 PA+++)

One thing that you must’n forget during day time regime is sun block! Prolonged exposure to the sun is going to make you age faster and can lead to skin cancer! Scary isn’t it? SunWave UV Extra DNA De-Tox UV Block SPF 45 PA+++ is just perfect for hot sunny weather in KL and the texture is really light. It is easily blended into the skin and doesn’t leave ugly white traces. Anyways, as promised, these are my before and after comparisons. It might not be very noticeable in photos but it is very obvious when I touched my face. It feels a lot smoother now like baby skin!
