Review: Maybelline The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara

Aside from the bosom, there is another part that most girls would want them to be big – THE EYES! This is especially true for Asians who are known for being “mata sepet” aka slit eyes. Lots of products have been invented in order to create a bigger pair of eyes e.g. mascara, eyeliner, fake lashes, eyelash curler, iris enhancement lens and…some other things that I might not know existed yet LOL!

Recently, I’ve been introduced to Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara — a state-of-the-art mascara that promises the effect of having falsies, opening the curtains of your eyes so the current from your eyes can flow smoothly should you need to release them.

Maybelline Big Eyes Mascara comes with 2 types of brushes in order to amplify lashes 360° – Pump Up Brush to create volumized full fan effect for upper lashes and Sculpting Mini Brush that grabs every tiny bottom lash for a full circle effect for lower lashes.

Jeng jeng jeng! I super love the effect that Maybelline Volum’ Express The Falsies Big Eyes Mascara gave me! It’s very easy to use for a noob like me – I only need 2 coats of the mascara for a full fan effect. I purposely didn’t use eyeliner because I want people to be able to see that it’s not the eyeliner that made my eyes bigger. The microbrush for lower lashes is super convenient cos you know how larger wands tend to create accidents and make you have to reapply your makeup all over again. Ain’t nobody got time for that!

The patented spoon brush with pro-keratin fiber formula instantly adds more volume to my lashes without clumping. If you know me well, you’ll know that I seldom use mascara because it always smudges after a few hours. But with this mascara, it never came off even a bit! I swear I can feel the oil on my eyelids and I was worrying about the smudge but it turned out to be OK when I checked! Amazing! Plus, it was REALLY WATERPROOF! I couldn’t remove it with my usual makeup remover wipes so I had to use proper oil-based eye makeup remover instead. Can’t be lazy haha!

I completed my look of the day with Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 2. If you topple the lip polish over, it actually looks like a lipstick!
