XIXILI Spring Summer 2016 Lingerie Fashion Show

Our own home-grown Malaysian lingerie label, XIXILI has recently unveiled their Spring Summer 2016 collections during its annual lingerie fashion show at Ruyi & Lyn, Bangsar Shopping Centre. Inspired by sunrise bonfire and spiritual tribal awakening, the fashion show was aptly themed as Aurora, Rise of Dawn to depict a brand new day of hope, strength and joy for the everyday woman.

The night started with an awe-inspiring lights and objects manipulation performance by Psycusix. The sound of waves and birds mimicked by didgeridoo caught our attention as it breaks the cold silence of last few moments before dawn, signaling the arrival of a brand new day. We feasted our eyes with the eye catching XIXILI Spring Summer 2016 collections. From bright, summer hues to romantic florals to bold tribal or paisley prints, they’ve got it all covered for Spring Summer. We also secretly envied the models as they wore a sun kissed complexion complemented with a pair of elaborate lashes by Shu Uemura whilst in elegant loose beach waves and braids styling by Number76.

Holding the collection together were the compulsive embellishments; extravagant oversized tribal neck pieces, bohemian bangles, stunning waist accessories to feather earrings and anklets, each look perfectly aligned with theme; bringing rise of dawn to greater heights.
