Robbery @ Medan Tuanku Monorail Station

Last Friday (16/10/2009) a male friend of mine has been robbed at Medan Tuanku monorail station opposite of Jobstreet around 8pm. There were people around him, front and back but yet he still got attacked by 4 men. All cash, phone, office token, house key, wallet (IC and etc), company laptop were all gone. Nobody dared to help. Isn’t this just sad? According to police, there was a case few days back at the same place. When my friend went to see the inspector, the inspector chit chatted about useless stuff like asked my friend to guess how old is he and tell him that last time he is in IT field too. Duh… So everyone, please beware. If can, avoid using that route. People always advice us to be more aware but I don’t think it will work. If they target you, there’s nowhere you can run and no one will dare to help you. After listening to this news of his, I think I will share my past experience with you guys in the next post.
