Khoo Kongsi (邱公司) is a mark of the dominant presence of Chinese in Penang and it is the grandest clan temple in Malaysia. It is well known worldwide for its extensive lineage that can be traced back 650 years, as well as its closely-knit and defensive congregation of buildings and a magnificent clanhouse. There are three entrances that you can use to reach there; Cannon Street, Beach Street and Armenian Street.

That's my hometown and I used to visit that place since a kid when it was free entrance. I think the Opera House's stage has been refurbished. Long ago there was no museum beneath and it was quite boring then.

Oh… but the Opera House now is also for display purpose only
