Who is Liposonix® suitable for?
Liposonix® is an alternative for patients who need significant fat reduction but do not want invasive surgeries that are usually associated with high-costs, surgical risks and side effects. Liposonix® works best for those targeting love handles and fat around the waist. In order to do this treatment, patients need to be able to “pinch-an-inch” of fat in the treatment area and be in overall good health with a BMI equivalent or less than 30.

What does the treatment feels like?
You may feel mild discomfort, pain, coldness, prickling, tingling or warmth experienced during treatment.
Are there any side effect?
Just in case if you’re wondering whether there would be side effect after the treatment, actually there is but it’s only temporary. Patients may experience temporary redness, bruising, discomfort, and swelling after the treatment.
What will I need to do after the treatment?
Nothing in particular. However, post-treatment care will be based on the advice of your healthcare professional.
When will I see the results?
The final effect may vary with each patient. However, results are typically seen in 8 to 12 weeks (which is the time needed for the body to naturally process the treated fat).

Reduce Fat Without Surgery with Liposonix (Part 2)
As mentioned earlier, Liposonix® is a safe, non-surgical and non-invasive treatment that uses high-intensity focused ultrasound to treat and reduce fat without surgery. Currently it treats the abdomen area only.Who is Liposonix® suitable for?

- The treatment head of the Liposonix® system is placed on the targeted area.
- High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) energy focuses on the targeted fat and destroys the fat cells under the layers of the skin.
- A continuous lesion is created on the targeted fat and no harm is done to the skin layers.
- The fat tissues will be removed through the body’s natural healing and elimination process.

No need for invasive liposuction surgery and it works pretty much the same way – but using sound waves (ultrasound). Interesting.
Yeah I'm kinda afraid of surgery so I'd def prefer Liposonix over liposuction XD
