I was at HerbaLine Wellness Sanctuary Ipoh before the new year to rejuvenate myself and start anew. Sometimes, all we need is just a short break to recharge and return to our fight. Don’t you agree?

The first outlet is located in Pandan Indah, Kuala Lumpur. Taglined as “Eat Well, Look Well & Live Well”, their one-stop wellness concept which consists of Sojourn Guest House, HerbaLine Facial Spa and Mama Kim Wellness Kitchen has been well received by customers.

The opening of HerbaLine Wellness Sanctuary Ipoh also coincide with Tourism Malaysia’s Visit Malaysia 2020 campaign. Sojourn Guest House

A friend asked me if Sojourn is a hotel when he saw my Instagram Stories. To me, it has a trendy and modern interior design just like a hotel but they don’t call themselves a hotel because they want their guests to feel and enjoy the comfort of a home but with a touch of luxury. True to their tagline “Like home but better”, I felt very welcomed by their staffs and cozy environment as soon as I entered.

Sojourn Guest House has a total of 41 rooms and 6 key room types. Whether you are a solo traveler, couple, small family or big family, Sojourn Guest House surely has a type of room that is perfect to accommodate your needs.

Amenities is an important factor to me when I choose my accommodation because I prefer to travel light. I stayed in Deluxe King room and I’m so glad to know that our room is well-equipped with basic amenities.

For variety, each floor exudes a different style of coziness with lounges designated for kids, ladies and family respectively for ultimate relaxation.

I love hanging out at the public space with a book while sipping on the complimentary tea that they provide. I feel so at peace!

Other facilities include Roof Garden (3rd Floor), 24-hour Laundry Room (3rd Floor) and Conference Hall (1st Floor) for workshops, meetings, events, or gatherings.

HerbaLine Facial Spa

Whether you realize it or not, our wellness is influenced by our mood and brain. When we feel pretty, we feel happy, and being happy can influence our wellbeing. Hence, this is why I decided to pay HerbaLine Facial Spa a visit for facial treatment. With its “no sign course policy”, my mind is immediately put to ease because I know my purse will not bleed. They offer a variety of facial and body treatments with complimentary value-added services such as fish spa therapy, sea salt foot bath, natural aromatherapy, and detox lemongrass drinks. After a few hours of quiet rejuvenation (I napped for a while hehe) and a good facial treatment when relaxing shoulder massage, I felt fresh and reinvigorated.

I also got to try the Antioxidant Hot Bed Therapy which is exclusively available at HerbaLine Wellness Sanctuary Ipoh. Their Antioxidant Hot Bed Therapy is powered by cutting-edge technology from Japan. All we needed to do is lie down in a 42°C – 45°C treatment room for 40 minutes to sweat out the toxins. that  this facility offers a rejuvenating experience with wide array of health benefits.

Mama Kim Wellness Kitchen

Mama Kim Wellness Kitchen offers a comprehensive and healthy menu with the concept of 80% vegetable and 20% meat in a single dish to ensure their customers are getting a balanced meal. Their philosophy of “Where Healthy Is Yummy” has been gaining a lot of popularity among the community who desires healthy yet yummy dishes. The principles of Mama Kim’s dishes are:

• 5 major colors
• Fresh ingredients
• No MSG
• No white flour
• No sugar, less salt, less deep fried
• Balanced nutrients
• 80% vegetables / 20% meat average

I had their Mini Sauna Mee from the breakfast set and it was really hearty. I feel really good after enjoying a bowl of warm and delicious food like this. I have a strong feeling that my day is starting right! Overall, my one night stay at HerbaLine Wellness Sanctuary Ipoh has been a refreshing experience which rejuvenates my wellness and health from inside out. I wish I could stay here longer!
